I had a great time performing for everyone down at WJVC My Country 96.1 FM! I sang “unplugged” acoustic versions of my singles Me Time, I Don’t Feel Anything and Wouldn’t You Like To Know for a packed conference room of radio execs – nerve wracking but amazing at the same time. It’s incredible that WJVC launched Long Island’s first country music radio station right when I was launching my country album, Me Time. This is definitely meant to be! I had two amazing musicians, Colin Smith and Brian Gabriel playing in the room with me.
As we were performing, more and more people from the radio station packed into the conference room and it was standing room only!! After singing my heart out I signed pictures for everyone at WJVC and did an on-camera interview with WJVC My Country 96.1 FM radio personality Phathead, who has been so sweet and supportive of my music career. Our interview later aired on Fios News 1 on Fios cable’s channel 1.

I did an exciting radio interview with New Jersey’s Rockin’ Country, Thunder 106 FM, live from the Shark Fin Inn in Forked River, New Jersey. Thunder 106 broadcasts live from The Shark Fin Inn regularly, and the place is always packed with a great crowd of country music fans. During my “Live on the Air” interview I spoke to DJ Captain Jack who was a super nice guy and so easy to talk to. He also has one of the greatest radio voices I have ever heard!
I performed a 1/2 hour acoustic set, live from The Skark Fin, along with Colin Smith and Brian Gabriel, two incredibly talented musicians. Two other country acts, Chelsea Musick and The Dirt Drifters, also performed great sets that night. After my set was finished I signed a bunch of autographs and one guy actually requested that I sign his rear end. What would you guys have done in that situation??
As we were all leaving he screamed out, “WAIT!! Can you PLEASE sign my cheek?” I already had the sharpie in my hand, so I politely obliged (LOL) before I walked out the door and headed back home to Long Island. Definitely a crazy experience in more ways than one!!
I want to thank everyone at WKMK Thunder 106 FM and the staff at The Shark Fin Inn for a great night!
