Performed For a Packed House on June 25th @ The Boulton Center in Bayshore, New York

Last night I had the privilege of performing for a packed house of about 250 country music fans right here in my hometown of Long Island, at The Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bayshore, New York.

What a magical night! Long Island-based comedienne Tina Giorgi opened for me and she did a fabulous job warming up the audience. Tina’s set lasted about 40 minutes and she had the crowd (including me, backstage) roaring with laughter.

My band was great, as always. Their musicianship is second to none. I am blessed to have such talented people around me. We had people dancing in the aisles during the concert. When I started to sing the first few chords of my single, “Me Time,” people started clapping, and some people in the audience were singing out loud with the song. So surreal!

When I got a standing ovation at the end of the night I was humbled, and I cannot remember the last time I felt as exhilarated as I did at this Boulton Center performance. Moments like that truly do not come very often in life, and I appreciate all of my fans.

Before the show ended I said to the crowd, “I’d love to be able to speak to each of you personally, and to thank you for your support.” About 100 people stayed after the show and shook my hand, and I signed autographs. Two little girls had my t-shirt on and asked me to sign them. What’s so amazing is that my growing fan-base consists of both men and women, and people of all ages. I have fans who are 10 and fans who are 70! I think that’s the power of country music; it doesn’t exclude anyone.

Most importantly, the Breathe Believe Foundation was there as well, and their founder, Angela Ruggeri, got up and said a few words about Cystic Fibrosis research. A portion of the proceeds from my Boulton Center concert went to the Breathe Believe Foundation.
